RE: R-Vision MaxLite ML23RS Water Pump Location
I have a 24RS, and my pump is under one of the dinette seats. Remove the cushion and it's just four phillips head screws.
If you turn on the pump, you should be able to hear it and that will help with the location.

Personally I see the glass being "half full". Nothing is great as fall camping with near perfect temperatures with no need for air conditioning, cool crisp nights that are great for sleeping, much smaller crowds in campgrounds and more of the prime sites available with no reservations. Spring and Autumn camping are certainly MY favorites.

Yep, just run enough water from the toilet to cover the bottom of the blank tank. I use the drop in packets. Super easy to use.
Yes, a little bit of bleach every so often will freshen up the fresh water tank. Flush with clean water and your good to go.

I've hauled 3-6 bikes many, many thousands of miles and never had a single problem using simple Swagman roof racks. If I carried more then 4 bikes, I use my front receiver mounted bike carrier.

The oil companies are making a killing (exxon 100 billion aditional profit this year) with NO shortage, and their mouthpieces have many convinced to give them the drilling off FL and in the artic to "fix" the fictional shortage and save us.
Duh.
I can't even imagine what these folks are smoking... or is it drinking the Kool-aid??
They are robbing youj blind so give them everything they want.
Sounds like Reagan giving arms for the hostages. Like "Charlie's War where they created and armed Al-qeda. Muddled thinking and sheep following.
My vote for one of the best posts. Finally, someone that can look beyond the billboards...

So I guess if you get big enough and crowded enough you no longer have to police your own facilities.
I was never so glad as the day I moved out of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Lakewood has an excellent security staff and they were out in force the week we were there (two weeks ago). They can't be everywhere, and if someone wants to steal, they'll find a way, no matter what security staff.
And, I'm sure MB is glad your gone.

I just spent 8 days at Lakewood and never even locked our doors! Not once!
Your theft problem is NOT a Lakewood problem, it's YOUR problem. YOU and ONLY you are responsible for the scurity of YOUR campsite!
The thieves do NOT come from the campground, they come in from outside, anyway.
The security at lakewood is top notch, and I was very pleased with the way they patroled the park. I saw them everywhere we went all week and they were working hard as it was crowded.
If someone had stolen something from my campsite, I would have been mad at MYSELF for not locking it up properly. Take responsiblity for yourself!
Don't blame Lakewood. That's like blaming a campground for bad weather...

I find this hard to believe...Why are you so quick to call a fellow RVer a liar... :M
ex-pens with a cover under them right next to my MH = not going in park area.
I'm in a holding pattern waiting for repairs...so 'sadly' I 'am' just sitting and waiting and observing. I thought that most complaints were grossly exagerated but I guess they aren't.:W

RE: Lakewood campground in Myrtle Beach
We just returned from a week at Lakewood. You will love it.
Over the last 4 years, I've stayed at Ocean Lakes, Pirateland, Lakewood, Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Myrtle Beach State Park and Huntington Beach State Park and Apache.
Lakewood is our favorite when we want the amenities.
Huntington Beach is our favorite when we just want to go the beach.
Lakewood is like all the rest, keep the alcohol low key and you won't have a problem.
